While i was in Jamaica growing up i got to know about my country history and the type of thinks they use to use back in the old time days. people used to tell me that some of the things that we have now weren't around back then for instance people walk to work and form work back home, so when they started to invented modern things like bicycle for transportation and thing like those they started to build rail roads for train because they realized that they could make money off of transportation and so people could reach there destination more faster even in those time they were no cell phone either so when i was growing up in Jamaica i experience a lot because i got to know some of the things people didn't use to have back in the old time days.
Another influential thing that make Jamaica very popular in thee world is our music and our culture. the man that they said who created music in Jamaica was BOB Marley he is one of the legend in music, Bob is one of the most influential artist who people look up to now even though he past away one of his song that is popular ''no woman don't cry,'' is today sung as a lullaby to babies all over the world.
We have seven national hero that fought for Jamaica and two of the hero's discovered PNP and JLP, which means (People National Party, Jamaican People Party) PNP was found by one of the national hero's named Mr. Norman Manley in 1938 and JLP was discovered in 1945 by Sir. Alexander Bustamante first cousins.both of these party was formed and operated by a relatively small amount of men with a high degree of British and intraparty cooperation. since the JLP & PNP were around for a long time now they both used the street gangs to influence the electoral process, in the election campaign of 1980, for instance more than 400 persons were murdered as a result of political disputes an due to all of that it is still going on now.
